A. Kansas annual reporting

1. Surface water diversions and irrigated acres - The source data is including in the Excel file in the section below under model input files (RRCS_Overlap_Groups_For2005_Prelim.xls).  

• KS_SW_Use_2005.xls - Tabulation of KS surface water use by sub-basin for 2005.

2. Groundwater pumping and irrigated acreage - Groundwater data required by the Settlement is included in the Excel file below except:

• County crop distribution summary

3. Climate information - All climate data need for the model should be publicly available (Willem, let us know if you have any trouble obtaining the data).

4. Crop Irrigation Requirements - still to come.

5.  Streamflow records from State-Maintained Gaging Records - Not applicable to Kansas 

6.  Platte River Reservoirs - Not applicable to KS

7. Water Administration Notification - Not applicable to KS

8. Moratorium - See 2005_KS_Wells.xls. If the embedded text files in the spreadsheet do not work for you, see WIMAS.zip for the water right information reports.

9. Non-Federal Reservoirs - There were no new dams constructed in KS within the RRC basin above Hardy. Thus the inventory is the same we provided last year.

• Tabulation of evaporation from non-federal reservoirs by sub-basin.
• Kansas non-Federal reservoirs. This is the inventory we provided at the end of 2004.

• Draft Harlan County split (HC_Split_2005.xls). Note: as there were no releases for irrigation again in 2005, we will again use the 2001-2003 split average.
• Lovewell operations model to develop split between Republican River and White Rock Creek (Lovewell_Ops_2005.xls)
